It has been almost a year since I updated my blog. I foresaw many changes in and around my environment.
To begin with I have moved from UST Global (Trivandrum) to Cognizant (Coimbatore). So what happened to my MBA plans? Yes I still have the hunger to pursue it. I ensured that I gave enough preparation during Aug 09 for GMAT. When things were getting in to shape my work demanded more time that I had little (or no) time during my last few days. This made a huge difference on the D day. Still I am confident that I can make it. I will post my updates on MBA once my efforts gets paid off. I believe in the phrase “When you succeed you need not be there to explain, when you fail you should not be there to explain”.
Secondly I am able to see my worthiness in the new environment. I would dedicate all the acquired knowledge and practices to UST Global. Nevertheless without whom I am not what I am now. The projects, mentors and learning from my previous employer make me to feel that my basics are better. Behaviours which irritates me the most - Dumb, Jealous and undeserved people who boast themselves and accuse others for their own ignorance. I got used to this (with many people) and keep getting wiser as days passes. I have started with some management books which keeps me focussed towards my long term goals and ultimately handle people and time. A lead is someone who preaches what he practices, who has a vision and mission, who handles people the way they should be and finally ensure that he is smart enough to show his unique innovative talent. I don’t want to sing my praises. I am not a perfect lead (though I practising to be one) but I can clearly distinguish a lead.
Thirdly I have stopped procrastinating time. I have made it a point to spend exactly 9 hrs at office. I am not sure how far I can take it but I will make it as long as I can. The only reason for this pledge is I want to spend each and every minute, precisely which focuses towards my long term goal.
Finally I have made it a point to scrap my blog at regular intervals. I am sure that I have two roads ahead of me and I am confident of not only choosing the right one but also excel in same.
